Solid woods are as it suggests 100% solid, Engineered woods are formed of a solid layer of Oak for example it then has a soft spruce centre with a ply base, Structured woods are formed using a layer of solid wood, it then has a complete ply base. All of these come in different finishes to suit the look you’re after. They are all durable and extremely attractive. wood floors will last you for years, and give a high-end finish to any home. Paul and Emma quite simply transformed our home. Ripped up and disposed of our old carpets, replaced skirting boards, fitted the sound insulation underlay we requested and then the much-discussed cork tiles. It looks and feels amazing, we keep marvelling at how beautifully they completed the work, how quickly and so neat. Paul gave me lots of advice beforehand, he and Emma know their stuff about all things flooring and we are thrilled with the result. Also very tidy and efficient, and just very pleasant people to deal with. Would definitely use this company again!

Paul did a fantastic job for us in our hallway & living room. We had carpet lifted, removed & disposed. The concrete floor was levelled and then LVT flooring fitted throughout. The workmanship is top quality with a lovely finish. Paul and Emma were professional, friendly, polite, courteous, tidy & punctual. Despite having to level the floor, which wasn't expected/planned, they worked incredibly hard to complete the work in the original timescale. Therefore avoiding any disruption to our or their schedules! I would highly recommend their services and we will most definitely have them back for future work!

We used Barnard Flooring to supply and fit new carpet in our master bedroom, landing and stairs. The quality of the carpets is fantastic and have transformed our bedroom and stairs. We are so pleased with the finished result. Would definitely recommend Barnard Flooring.

Paul and Emma came to lay wood flooring throughout our hallway, dining room and living room. The whole experience was excellent! They work with a high level of care and attention to detail, but also quickly and efficiently. They know exactly what they're talking about and are super friendly to boot. We're absolutely delighted with the level of service, the finished floor and the way in which it was done. Highly recommended! So much so that we're rebooking to get our carpets done next 😀

I used Barnard Flooring in November to lay a new cork floor throughout the downstairs lounge and kitchen. They are a small, organised company who are professional and friendly. The finish was of a high standard and they were clean and tidy. Would recommend.
